Jakub”Jacob” Bartnik is a fashion designer working under the pseudonym of Jacob Birge. Winner of Off fashion contest, which allowed him to start studies at the biggest Nordic university – TEKO in Denmark. After two years, he moved to Edinburgh to continue his education at the prestigious University of Edinburgh where he obtained a BA (Hons) in 2012. His thesis collection was shown at Graduate Fashion Week in London.
After graduation, he received a grant from the Starter for 6 program to establish his own brand – Jacob Birge Vision, which has twice shown its collections during Fashion Week in London. He collaborated with the stylists of Lady Gaga, Jessie J, or Ada Szulc.
In 2013 he was nominated for two international awards: WGSN Global Fashion Awards and the Scottish Fashion Awards. His work has been published in magazines like Vogue, Glamour, Harper’s Bazar China, Trend land, Wanderland, Idol, Fabolous and many others.
